FROM DUSK TILL DAWN (2009)

/ Fra Aften til Morgen
/ Ringkøbing, Denmark 2009

A LED light installation with energy from wind turbines.

Harvest the wind, protecting the harvest

Wind turbines and windbreaks are the explicit signs of how generations have cultivated and lived off a harsh landscape. “From Dusk till Dawn” lights up five wind turbines and 50 meters of windbreakers, thus adding an uncanny feel to the significant human artefacts of technology in the middle of nature. The work hints at the hope of establishing a balance between nature, technology and people, while celebrating the effort and energy of the people in the region.
